This special re-print edition of "Squab Breeding" by Frank Foy from 1909 includes the very basics of what a person needs to know about how to raise pigeons for meat purposes, whether for home use or for the local market. Chapters include "The Best Pigeon Breeds For Squab Raising", "Constructing Housing for Pigeons", "How and What To Feed Pigeons", "Selecting and Multiplying Breeding Stock", "Preparing Squabs", "The Profits of Squab Raising" and "Diseases of Pigeons". This small booklet on breeding pigeons for meat purposes had been out of print for over a century until the release of this edition. Note: This edition is a perfect facsimile of the original edition and is not set in a modern typeface.
